2018 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

Players like that are so extremely tough to evaluate in a modern setting. Seems to me like he'd still be a ball handling wizard who could really get the team out in transition, but not much of a shooter/defender. Poor man's Nash? Not sure.

I almost didn’t draft him because of that, but being a backup behind the big O it’s not a big deal. I just need him to play ten fifteen minutes and be a change of pace get my bench off and running. I pretty much drafted him for his playmaking

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

When 90’s era players get dinged in voting because of shooting, it really makes it hard to evaluate a guy like Cousy who had such an unorthodox shooting motion.

@elan_prodigy selects Rip Hamilton
Cheers again dude.

Here is my final lineup. Unless I make a trade, which seems unlikely since I really like this team.

John Stockton / Tiny Archibald
Jimmy Butler / Sam Jones
Elgin Baylor / Lattrell Sprewell
Anthony Davis / Rasheed Wallace
Joel Embiid / Kristaps Porzingis

I have elite rim defense from all 4 bigs. So my perimeter guys can play aggressive and no one can pull my rim protectors away. All 4 bigs can shoot from 3 to space things out. John Stockton will have a field day with these bigs. I have elite defenders at all 5 positions. Supreme athlete and scorer at SF, the original Lebron Elgin Baylor. I have a HOF MVP PG coming off the bench who had one of the best seasons for a PG ever, 34 ppg and 11.3 apg. Plus no one is going to mess with my team. Lattrell and Rasheed will enforce things pretty well. Great spacing and scoring and damn good defense.

This might be a bit of a controversial pick, but I'm going to choose the guy Wilt Chamberlain called the greatest basketball player...

Meadowlark Lemon.

Say what you will about the silliness of the Globetrotters, the guy could flat out BALL.

Never heard of him but he looks like a fun player. He is your 10th guy though and in a real playoffs matchup your 10th guy rarely sees the court if at all.

Those early Globetrotters certainly deserve more credit than they often get as 'regular' ball players, Haynes > though.
