You could credibly argue he is below average, but you are wildly exaggerating his weakness.

Euro centers tend to get painted with "no defense stiff" eye-test broad-brush.

offensive centers get painted with the no defense stiff, not Euro centers. Most Euro centers just happen to be great offensive players

Thanks, but this doesn’t convince me. I want numbers for say the last 2-3 minutes of the fourth quarter of a close game, the overtime numbers are great but it’s a small sample, and analytics can’t always be trusted.

It's white centers who have that reputation. Offensive black centers are usually seen as athletic.

Here is my team so far.

Steph Curry
Jrue Holiday/ Zach Lavine
Jayson Tatum
Kyle Kuzma/Jabari Parker
Nikola Vucevic

Probably will get a bunch of haters. My defense isnt top notch. But its hard to build a great defense without many options to choose from. Although I have Jrue to guard the opponents best guard. Which helps. Its a guards league.

I dont feel like anyone my team is a horrendous defender, but I know other people think that.

My offense is superb though. Everybody can shoot and score so far. Just gonna have to outscore everyone.

I really wanted Jrue. You took him the same round I was going to take him. Was a good pick
 
Giannis Antetokounmpo/Eric Bledsoe
Kawhi Leonard
Brandon Ingram
Blake Griffin
Lauri Markkanen

Depending on matchups I might start Bledsoe and bring Lauri off the bench. But with this lineup I have a **** ton of length at every position, great defense, solid shooting, and I can switch all over the place. Griffin and Lauri can stretch the floor and Blake can play center if needed as well, and probably will against bigger stronger centers. Giannis can guard anyone on the court at any position I need him to. Kawhi can take out the best player on the other team. I still need another solid big who can play defense as well for matchups and a little more rim defense. This team matches up well against Lebron with so many people who can guard him. Giannis and Leonard are probably the two best defenders against him.

Markkanen and Ingram are going to take big jumps next year. Bledsoe will settle in with a new team and be back to a great scorer and defender.

Also Giannis is going to be a top 3 player in the NBA next year. He should be a 30, 12, and 6 player.

Worst defense team in the contest probably. Lot of scoring tho
