2018 Annual JazzFanz Current Players NBA Draft

I had hoped to draft Rubio but Rozier was always the backup plan, and he might be as good or better then Rubio, and he’s still developing, unlike Ibaka. Lol

oh no. you think he might be as good or better than rubio

There was 1 player that I'd strongly considered but decided against it cos he's one of the most polarizing player right now.

Will be interested to see where he goes in the draft.

I need an athletic, defensive, shooting PF, and he fell right to me. Jaren Jackson Jr,

He is 6'11" with a 7'4" wingspan. He averaged 3 blocks in the NCAA and 3.25 in the NBA Summer League. In the summer league, he was 14/28 from three (3.5 3PA per game), and in college, it was 39.6% on 2.7 attempts per game. He'll be a force in a Draymond Green type role in the league for years to come. He had the highest BPM and DBPM among all players drafted. Super excited about this pick, and I think he fell far too far.

Career highlights and awards
  • Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year (2018)
  • Big Ten Freshman of the Year (2018)
  • Third-team All-Big Ten (2018)
  • Big Ten All-Freshman Team (2018)
  • McDonald’s All-American (2017)
  • Jordan Brand Classic (2017)
He is the son of former professional basketball coach and former NBA player Jaren Jackson.

Was taking him with my next pick. Good pick up.

Thats twice in a row youve got my guy a few picks before me... ****.

Yeah. He is that good.

I feel like half the time people just make up things about players around here. It seems like hardly anyone is actually watching the games or even understand what a good basketball player looks like.

How can anyone say Rozier is not good? He was so good during the playoffs. He will probably be looking at getting a huge contract when its time to extend.

Rozier is good. Rubio is better. Clearly.

To recap @Grayson's Hands and my Harden trade from way back. I feel the trade was pretty solid on both ends but I may just be a filthy homer to my team.

James Harden, Goran Dragic, and Luka Doncic
for
Ben Simmons, Bradley Beal, and Otto Porter

11/4/2 38% 3
13/4/5 35%3

Their numbers are pretty close.

The big difference is assists, but Rubio started all season long.

How is Rubio that much better if at all?

Rozier will only get better still, and not in his prime yet.

I think you robbed him.

I think you're underrating Dragic and Doncic. Those are some really solid picks

Yeah if this was real life NBA I think Harden for Simmons, Beal and Porter would have been a great deal for the team getting Harden - let alone getting Dragic and Doncic as well.

Rubio was not the same player in the second half of the season, and that's the one I believe is more like him. Per 34 minutes (he was only playing 29) he averaged 18.3/6.9/6.1 per 34 minutes in the second half of the season on 46/44/87 shooting splits
