You’re seriously going to use Bennett as an an example to justify your picking of Battier? Only Cle. Thought it was a good idea to draft Bennett. That should tell you all you need to know if it was a good idea to draft Battier.

This definitely may be my favorite team I’ve ever constructed in these things. The combination of defense, badasses, scoring, complimentary play, clutch players, and downright all-time greats (I have arguably 4 of the top 12-15 players) is pretty nasty.

That is exactly who I was thinking of when I set the rule to be "Players who are playing in foreign leagues and do not have a reasonable expectation of getting a deal with an NBA team are eligible."

Edit: oh sorry I realized eligible the second time I’ve read it. This is good to know. I really like Stephon Marbury.

He had a really good career in the NBA, but he was PHENOMENAL in China.
 


This is nice to watch. I think it reflects the mind and state of tiredness of a pro player that finally decides that it’s time to take a rest from the game.

On February 11, 2018, Marbury played his final game in the CBA, scoring 20 points in a 104–92 win over the against Jiangsu Dragons, and announced his retirement after the game ended.

Ron Artest A.K.A. Metta World Peace


I’ve got nasty, now I need a little crazy. Artest will do the thankless dirty work no one wants to do and ugly up the game. This guy won’t back down from anyone or fan base lol. Can guard multiple positions and is no slouch on defense, having won DPOY in 04 and a few all defensive teams. I would also note that he won the citizenship award in 2011
