2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

True. I just have a feeling the teams looking at Parker right now are the ones who have a need at the wing (Houston, NOLA, maybe even Philly). They will try to buy low, get rid of a bad contract, and hope he works out.

there is no way he goes to the rockets tho, 20m per one of the worst players in the league is nuts.

He's exactly what we need, but I don't know about his attitude etc. That contract would be our 2nd highest paid player, he's the highest paid player on the bulls wth happened?

The Bulls couldn't sign anyone else and took a flyer on him. Being from Chicago probably thought would help ticket sales as well.

If NOLA wants Jabari, we need to get involved and get Niko.

You don't follow the Bulls. Ticket sales are never a problem. They could put their G-League team out there and sell out every night.

Locke did a thing on D'Angelo Russell, saying he could theoretically be available with the Dinwiddie contract.

It's not super inspiring. Good shooter but pretty bad at everything else.

They like signing their hometown boys. It was an influencing factor in some way, be it charging a couple extra dollars a ticket, jersey sales, etc. It's the same reason they signed Wade to big bucks who was not a good fit with Butler.

It might be, but I think it's just that the GM thinks they're good.

So tomorrow starts the next wave of trade chatter. Players signed in summer who can be traded as of December 15

As of right, we've heard....

Lakers are looking to flip KCP into something
Jabari Parker is on the block
Ariza will get dealt
Indiana would trade Collison or Joseph
Fultz might get traded
Miami has to do something - they suck and their tax bill is ridiculous
Cleveland is looking to trade for future assets
NOLA is looking for improvements
Houston is looking for improvements
Charlotte is looking for improvements
Sacramento is looking for improvements (and they have $11 million of cap space)
Dallas is looking to improve

I hope we see something happen sooner rather than later.

Jabari is terrible. I threw up a little thinking about him in a Jazz jersey. Maybe for the vet minimum.

All of the options listed aren't very appealing. We need a STAR, or an upgrade to Rubio and Favors, who are solid players (specially Favors).

Yeah Miami needs to do something. Is there anyone we want though.
Not really. Maybe McGruder

I like Maten, a guy they have on a 2-way contract. Everyone else on their team is overpaid and not a clear upgrade over anyone on the Jazz. The Heat are basically a poor man's Utah.
