2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

Let’s just make sure next year we have Patty Mills, JJ Redick, and Nikola Mirotic.

Mitchell / Mills / Neto
Redick / Royce / Allen
Ingles / Korver
Niko / Crowder / Niang
Gobert / Udoh / Reed

I wonder if the Jazz have interest in kicking the tires on Jabari Parker. They didn't show interest in him last summer, but maybe they had other priorities. They could probably put a lineup around him that covers some of his deficiencies.

But I don't know the story on why he's not fitting in in Chicago.

I want McGruder just for his name.

Yeah Miami needs to do something. Is there anyone we want though.

I sorta like Olynyk and James Johnson for us... but I really like MacGruber. I might take on one of the KO or Johnson contracts if it also came with MacGruber, but I also think FA is likely to produce a big fat nothingburger.

Woj and Zach Lowe are having a show for the December 15th stuff.

This guy was his high school coach but for real. He had a weird posting style. He kept touting that we were 19-13 when Big Mac started for us.

OMG... we need him back... the poster...not the player. That would be so fun.

If there was a Milt Palacio stan I want that guy back too.

My handle obviously reference's one of the big 3 from that season... Ben/Keith/Borchardt, so I have a strange affinity for that transition time period. It was funny watching some of those teams... I remember starting every game thinking we'd lose by 100 and somehow we'd win some games.

dude coz he sux

Not only did Jabari not crack the rotation in Chicago, he was removed. Who was the last player released by a team that ended up being an all-star that was not a planned move? I've seen better players do this kind of thing as part of the plan to sign someone else then be picked back up, but I can't think of a single player released like this who turned into anything.

Just say no to Jabari.

The only way we should consider signing Parker would be picking him up off waivers for cheap. Maybe a straight swap with Exum. Otherwise giving up any assets at all for him is beyond foolish.

They have a larger seating capacity. % is what matters. They’re 15th this season. Which all things considered is respectable. But they don’t just sell out.
I was a bit outdated, but up until that point last season they had sold out a ton in a row. If they had a normal size capacity, they'd still be selling out.

Id put it a below 0% chance.

Maybe he was one of the players who led the rebellion against Boylen. With Markannen returning, the Bulls just don't need him. If it's a team option for next year, he'd be worth a look for a 2nd round pick. Will be interesting to see if any team offers real value for him.
