2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

He is on the Warriors and as we all know, the Warriors are criticized for being too relaxed during the regular season. I don't know why his RPM is low, but it doesn't mean he isn't a good defender. The Warriors are a unique team in NBA history where they have 3 (if you don't count Green or Cousins) all-stars on their team. Honestly, they don't NEED to play defense to win games during the regular season. They just whomp on 80% of teams and only kinda step-up on the other 20%. During the playoffs is when they play better (past the first round).

To be honest bro. None of that made any sense, and didnt explain anything.

I know Jabari isnt a all defensive team player, but he isnt as bad as you think he is. The **** team he is on just drags down his "advanced stats"

If you added Jabari on the Jazz I would go as far as to say our defense would get better than it currently is. The reason for that is simple. Improve the offense then you improve the defense automatically. Just by the simple fact you arent clanking as many shots and chasing down fast breaks. The defense has time to get set.

Check out the move at 49 seconds in. Its so quick, clean, and powerful all at the same time. He made a pretty athletic power forward look small and slow in that situation. This dude is a special talent just waiting to be unleashed.

meh....he's still the worst player in RPM in the league and plays next to 0 defense. PLUS a 20mil contract to boot.

AVOID.

Haha

Another guy trying to use RPM.

Do you want to explain why Klay Thompson has one of the worst RPM's in the league and he is on the best team in the league? In fact a historically great team.

Or are you just going to skate around the argument too?

You are bad at watching basketball if you think that Jabari and Klay are = because they both have bad RPM. How about... If you EVER WATCHED BOTH OF THEM PLAY, you can tell that one of them is elite, the other is mediocre

And you are really bad at understanding what someone is arguing. Are you like 10 years old or something? Honestly, how old are you?

Think real hard about what Im trying to say about RPM.

Lolololol. K

I think Jabari is an issue because he makes $20 million not because his defensive flaws. If he was making $10 million, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to trade Thabo, Neto and a protected 1st for him. He has offensive talents that our franchise rarely or ever has attained. We are on the brink of contention, but we lack another scorer who can create points and also shoot.

I would gamble on Parker, but I just find a hard time coming up with the salaries necessary to acquire him.

Oubre seems like he’s kind of a knot head but I’m surprised a team isn’t more interested in him. Not a good fit for us personality wise or I’d say we could give up some stuff to make that trade happen.

I agree. I've never been that enamored with Oubre. Seems like a really solid player who might emerge with more opportunity, but still doesn't seem like the best fit here.

I do worry about Memphis if they got him for a cheap as that deal was. Oubre might emerge there because they need more help on the wing.
