Unless the Celtics offer tell them they’d do Tatum I would prolly just do the Lakers offer.
I definitely think the Celtics would be willing to part with Tatum to get AD.

Watching Prince against the clips... not really impressive at all. He seems to have no energy and is weirdly disengaged. Not sure if that’s his normal motor or if LA nightlife got him.
One option I've seen suggested for NOLA is just to wait until after the draft lottery and offer AD for the #1 pick.they can't do a deal until this summer.
NO could wait... but they should just fall down the standings.. short tank would give them an outside shot at Zion.

Sure....I guess you could do that. Then you could also get told to **** yourself when you try and offer 1 year of AD for like 4 years of Zion on a rookie deal and then his RFA extension.
On Zach Lowe's pod today he said he'd love to see Mirotic on the Jazz. He said when he watches Utah, he thinks "If only Jae Crowder were 10% better. Not even 20% better..." and said if Mirotic/hypothetical-10%-better-Jae was on the Jazz they'd be a really scary team.

I don't think he has the speed or endurance to consistently play the three.Have we considered the fact that playing Jae at the 3 might be a better long-term idea anyways? I'd like to see Quin tinker with a lineup with Mitchell/Ingles/Crowder at the 1/2/3
Only way his value goes down is if he suffers a major injury between now and the offseason. His value only goes up if they wait until the offseason since Boston can, in theory, put together the best package for AD and that'll put pressure on the Lakers as well as other teams to put forward their best offers. Trading him at the deadline and not allowing Boston to enter trade talks without giving up Kyrie (they won't do that) lowers AD's trade value unless someone like Philly comes in big and offers Simmons or something. If I were NO. I’d be worried about AD’s value going down if I wait, and as I type this I’m realizing this is true for all teams but Boston since they hope he doesn’t get traded till July due to that rule. Can Boston legally talk trade before July?
The Dunc'd on podcast started their Mock Trade Deadline episodes. You can find the first episode here:

In this one they traded AD to NYK for Porzingis, their 1st round pick 2019(top 1 protected) + stuff
They also traded Mike Conley to the Jazz for Ricky Rubio, Dante Exum, Grayson Allen and 2019 1st round pick(top 4 protected)
Marc Gasol went to Charlotte for protected 1st + taking on MKG and Biyombo
Sounds like the Pelicans may wait until summer.
