2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

Yeah, he’s really showed them.
Man the disrespect Dante gets on this is forum is disgusting. He played his best ball of his career before he got injured. And it was the first time he's been able to play his natural game. It wasn't his fault he had to stand in the corner

I almost responded to Jazz. Then I remembered that he is an idiot and it would be idiotic for me to engage in a discussion with him

Why would they want Favors? Jazz are a better team if they keep him.

It’s to make the salaries work so that they can gut it, tank and get better picks.

Obviously they’d want Exum but I’d prefer to hold on to him rather than lose 2 of our top 3 guards.

There are apparently 3 or 4 teams interested in Mirotic, though some of their offers might suck relative to the Jazz.

Examples: Houston offering Brandon Knight, Blazers offering Evan Turner, Sixers offering Fultz, etc.

yeah, except it's becoming the norm for him. every time when we think Dante's finally up to something, he gets hurt. lol

From Zach Lowe's article today.

I wish Jae Crowder were 10 percent better

Utah doesn't need another great player to be a great team, though of course they would happily take one. A small upgrade at the right position could have an outsize impact. That might come at point guard; Utah has engaged in talks with Memphis about Mike Conley already, and those talks may pick up steam as the weekend approaches, sources say. But Mitchell is already a pseudo-point guard. The low-hanging fruit is elsewhere. What if Utah nabbed Nikola Mirotic, Aaron Gordon or Harrison Barnes to work their version of Crowder's medium-usage power forward role -- and even play alongside him (depending on trade terms)?

He talks about it more in depth in the full article.
