I think at this point, we are contenders as much as anyone. The Lakers have already lost 2 games - 1 to the Clippers and 1 to the Blazers (who we beat by 20).
The Clippers meanwhile have only lost 1 game, but they lost to the Mavericks by 51 points.

Today and tomorrow's games are really going to give us some info about who the real Jazz are. But, given the number of 3 pointers that teams are hoisting up this season, a 20 point blow out isn't what it used to be. Lots of top teams are going to have 20-30 point losses and all it means is their 3 pointers weren't falling, while the other team's were. What's more indicative of what kind of team you are is do you fight back when you are down - and the Jazz did that vs Minnesota.

Lakers is 10 man roster deep. Their 10th guy is Talen Horton Tucker who still gets some minutes. Don't know why we sign long and athletic players just to play chess on the bench.

Our playoff bench is fine, our regular season bench maybe leaves some to be desired. With Joe, Favs and Clarkson we'll be pretty competitive when rotations get shorter.
