Not sure where you’re getting you gave up a 6th-7th round pick while getting extra picks earlier.

You upgraded from 26 to 22 but downgraded from 36/39 to 46/61. That’s a lot to move up 4 spots.

I lost later picks, but still have 4 picks in rounds 3 and 4 where there are plenty of studs to choose from. Basically I didn’t compromise my standing in early rounds other than moving down a few slots in rounds 3 and 4. I drafted KG who is as good as anyone I would’ve drafted 16th. Then traded for Pippen, a second round pick and still have 4 picks in rounds 3 and 4.
