I think the Jazz will probably re-sign Jordan Clarkson and go after an athletic 4 like Jerami Grant or Jamychal Green. Then they'll add a backup PG like Shaq Harrison.
I'd like them to make a play for Christian Wood, but if they were going to do something big and splashy (like trade Mike Conley), they probably wouldn't be focusing on these nickel and dime moves to surgically clear cap space.

No interest in Frank for me. I’d rather have CJ. It can’t be understated how important his offense is to the second unit, and pairing him at times with Mitchell makes things easier for Him. The defense can’t just key on Mitchell, and when they do CJ tends to go off and score in bunches. We saw this in numerous occasions. He’s one of the better 6th men in the league

i'm a christian wood homer, but hell no.
After minimum deals to fill out the roster we’d have around 21M-22M to spend on presumably Clarkson and then around 10M or so to split up between two players. Take Clarkson out of that equation we have 21M-22M to spend on three players. Wood being one of them.

Explain to me how that’s not how it works. If we are 22M under the cap and don’t spend any of that on Clarkson how do we not have any money for someone else. You’re telling me if we don’t sign Clarkson we can’t use that money towards someone else when we’re that much under the cap?
