Or Caruso or Bjelica or Shaq next year...

thise are my favorite along with “oh you would have taken Josh Hart or White when we drafted TB... lolz hindsight bruh”.

move joked for years that I could GM for half the teams in the league better than their current GMs by just doing obvious **** and not screwing up... I’m kind of believing it now.
We would definitely do better. This is crazy.

Lol at player options for both of those contracts. Do they just go to the negotiating table operating as if they are working with zero leverage?

This could easily become a new owner opening the checkbook, and DL and Zanick proceeding to make moves that makes us a total blow up project with terrible unmovable contracts within a couple of years. This seems reckless.

Player options are just the worst... DL is not a strong negotiator.

Look it’s close but you really think they will butt right against it? I’m also not sure if Two ways count.

Then again the way this offseason is going we will give whiteside the BAE.
I'm not sure how two ways count or what happens with Juwan Morgan, so I counted Brantley and Morgan as 2.7 in salary. Still left the Jazz with as much as 6 million under the apron, which is not really bumping up against the apron even after the 3.6 BAE. With JC and Favs on flat contracts, wiggle room could be less than 1 mil below the apron.

Do I think they'll do it? Not really, no. Just stating that it could easily be possible, depending a bit on how the JC and Favs contracts are structured.

We are almost certainly going to sign Neto... like you can set your clock to this ****.

DL loves flexibility so he can tell us they still have flexibility and then say nothing good came along. Being that close to the hard cap would likely leave him with cold sweats all season.

First, I like Favors but I don't get spending so many resources on backup Cs. I'm scracthing my head.

Regarding Woods, I like him but Utah makes no sense for him. It takes two to tango right?. Houston have no C or bigs for that matter. With money being equal, why would he choose Utah over other destinations?

Good move for Wood if true. Go to a team that has no true center or PF. May still be able to salvage a year with Harden and/or Westbrook. And if not, he's the main guy.
You read my mind. I was writing something along those lines

The tipping point for me will be when we give Rudy a terrible extension. Probably 5 years almost supermax with a player option every year.
