I've got a lot of thoughts right now... DL has some weird patterns... I think we may actually get a buyout guy but I'm definitely sure we will talk with a buyout guy and then sign him this summer and credit the conversation in season for the signing.

they know what they have. He's good... they now can keep him.
 
I really believe Mike is going to work here.

Does nobody remember Rubio's first 50 games? Look up his stats in those games. They're worse than Mike's. He couldn't shoot. He wasn't connected with teammates. What happened after that? Everything clicked and we looked amazing. Now it never really worked out to the level that we wanted it too because Ricky was just not a shooter. When everything finally comes together with this team our ceiling is elite folks. And we're already seeimg beginnings of it. Mike has been great the last two games. And last night he was connected better with guys like Rudy.

I swear this fanbase has a short-term memory and shortsighted view sometimes.

There's no reason to trade Mike today unless Chris Paul is available. No other move makes sense. Every other move lowers our ceiling. We want to contend, no?
 
I didn't expect us to do much of anything but I felt pretty confident we'd at least trade Ed.
 
The problem is we really don't have anyone that anyone else wants. Davis sucks....but he should net us a starter right? Conley sucks....but everyone needs a floor general so he should get us a strong stretch 4 with starting potential right? NWG and Niang both don't play and/or suck....but they should get us a strong rotation bench defender and rebounder and maybe a pick right? Frankly there is nothing we can do. I'll be shocked if we get anything done.
 
We have ****ing George Niang and Tony Bradley/Ed Davis in the rotation, the Clippers are adding a 20 PPG scorer and Lebron's kryptonite, and we can't even get a ****ing rumor.

I get not having the stones to trade the player that is at the heart of the destruction of our identity and success (I guess?), but we don't even have a rotation with obvious NBA players.

Miami had less than we had and did what they did. We got Jordan Clarkson trading a corpse and two 2nds. The Jazz aren't trying.

I'm here for it... would be nice to have a shooting 5 to pair with him. Wonder if Miami moves Olynyk... they now have space next year... ridiculous moves by pat riley.
