Trevor is smart AF! He’s not super skilled but I’m here for the Booker Jazz reunion. What are you talking about???
I was a big fan of WCS coming out of college. I was tantalized by the idea that he could be a 7-footer that could guard all 5 positions. I’m mesmerized by elite defenders. I’ve been mocked for asking for bulldogs, nonstop, for years.Yep, and the track record of him still being a decent player despite not giving a **** is just as long.
Getting him for (essentially) free is a great move for a team in need of a center.

It’s taken years, but I’ve finally given up on WCS. Dallas needed to do something, so they did. But, I’ve become 99% convinced that WCS is done. 2nd round pick was just wasted.
WCS has been let go by two bad NBA teams. The Warriors are really bad this year.If WCS plays at even replacement level (which he has, even this season - stats have him as the best Warrior this season - 2nd in RPM to Russell, 1st in PIPM, 2nd in raw RAPM to Lee) it's good value, wasted 58th pick, lol, what a joke.
People see a dude who doesn't try (and importantly, doesn't look like he tries) and put their head up their *** and ignore all actual results. Truth is is that even when he doesn't try WCS is a decent NBA player.
I’d rather have Bradley and Morgan. Hell, I’d rather roll with Bradley and Morgan in the playoffs. If WCS plays at even replacement level (which he has, even this season - stats have him as the best Warrior this season - 2nd in RPM to Russell, 1st in PIPM, 2nd in raw RAPM to Lee) it's good value, wasted 58th pick, lol, what a joke.

Is Layden still the Wolves’ GM?
I feel like we matchup better with the Lakers than a lot of people think. If they go with their big lineup Rudy is allowed to be a drop big and protect the rim AND on offense we can stretch AD away from the rim and force him to chase shooters around the perimeter. If they go small with AD at the 5 to pull Rudy away from the rim they are negating their own possible advantage. I also think that our guard play is better than theirs by quite a bit. We have more guys who can create with the ball in their hands.
I agree... problem is everyone is looking for one more of those guys... and there aren't a lot available for cheap.I feel like adding another long perimeter defender who can shoot for depth would be useful come playoff time. I mean for the most part the team we have does a really good job executing the defense we want to play which is running shooters off the three point line and funneling them toward Rudy which forces a lot of bad midrange looks. But in certain matchups we're going to have to mix it up and have guys that can stay in front. The more versatile we can be the better.
It's more than just useful, a 6’8er who can shoot, switch on defense and run the floor will truly be our last piece to the puzzle. Have we had Jerami grant on our team, we are truly contending.I feel like adding another long perimeter defender who can shoot for depth would be useful come playoff time. Getting rid of Conley to open up space for jerami grant in the summer would be key.I agree... problem is everyone is looking for one more of those guys... and there aren't a lot available for cheap.
I’ll be content if we win 1 of these 3 in a row on the road. Ecstatic if we get 2 of 3.
