This might simply be you being less jaded when it comes to politicians. I found it shallow and disingenuous at best. Given the current political and social climate I feel it was a calculated, pandering move to appear woke. Smfh

If he's ascribing those motives to Trump supporters he's not far off. At this point you're either all of those things, or supporting those things doesn't matter to you, which is splitting hairs enough to the point of meaninglessness.

I agree his take on people needing to feel pain as penance is wrong.

Anyway, let's not pretend Thriller was the only intended target for that message. From context it's pretty obvious he was talking about everyone on the left.

I mean, I'm pretty jaded when it comes to this stuff, but like, candidates speaking Spanish is not even on the radar of stuff to care about. It's like when a Canadian politician speaks in French.

The best (worst?) part of that tweet had more to do with the use of E Pluribus Unum, itself in an actual foreign language, to rail against people daring to speak Spanish.

Was Bush a demagogue?

Are 50 million plus Americans racist and sexist?

Can you change “trumpers” or “conservatives” with words like black, gay or jews and his comments still make sense?

Now, I try to be self aware. I truly do. I’m aware I’m the outlier here. So I’m probably to extreme and hard on him.

Look man, I'm not going to pretend I agree with everything Thriller says. I don't really understand why that's what we're talking about tbh.

As for there being tens of millions of Americans who are racist or sexist, um yes probably to varying degrees.

What the ****. I want to understand. I do.

If I say good morning to some one and they respond like a prick that’s on them.

If I say good morning go multiple people and they all respond like pricks, what am I doing wrong?

But it's totally OK to focus on Thriller in a conversation that ostensibly began with a GOP ad comparing AOC with the Khmer Rouge, featuring a burning photo fading to skulls.

I mean, I get it, you think he's the worst. But all you've done is distract the conversation away from that to something else, exactly what NPC wanted I imagine.

I agree. Thriller isnt whatever it is that Stoked thinks he is. He is fine. You dont have to read what he posts. Dutch did feel a little more like he was bombarding the forum with craziness.

Or maybe its just because he didnt use punctuation or proper grammer. So it stood out.
