So he's not theis imaginary gremlin you seem to believe in as the standard leftist?
Hopefully he is the rule and not the exception.

Actually, as I have previously stated, I tend to vote more independently than traditional party lines. I take into account the person and their proposed policies and then do my best to make an educated decision.
For me, the democratic lean to the far left is a bit too much for me to trust their judgment as of today. Now, that can change and hopefully it will, but right now, it seems to be a contest to see who can go further and further to the socialist side than the other and I don't think that is good for the country.
So you assume that I am white? And also, whites don't have to think about race every day? They literally have to tiptoe around the subject due to previous history thst they have nothing to do with.
Fine, don't trust their judgement. Don't think their proposals are good for the country.
That doesn't mean they hate America

You are mixed race and yet don't think that we live in a racist society? Interesting. I'm happy for you.
My best friend from many years ago is black (I’m white). People assumed we were an interracial couple and the amount of overt racism I saw was truly amazing. N words left and right. Then there are the many old white dudes with their overt racist comments (thinking I am one of them) is astounding. A contractor assured me that he did not hire José and “hose b” trying to get a contract. You are mixed race and yet don't think that we live in a racist society? Interesting. I'm happy for you.

These are not racist code words, these are overt. I have so much of this I am incredulous when people say they never see it. Not calling anyone a liar, just saying that it seems sooooooo hard to miss.
I would've probably lost my temper if someone said something like that (the Jose scenario). That is terrible.
Don't come to my family reunions then. I've heard the Jose thing too many times.I would've probably lost my temper if someone said something like that (the Jose scenario). That is terrible.
Does anybody else think Tulsi Gabbard is kinda hot?

I see overt racism almost every day in the USA. You do have to pay attention. People get treated different because of their race constantly.
In SLC I can jay walk anytime in front of a cop and they never care. My friends of color get harassed constantly for that. No one ever asks for my ID when I pay with a credit card. Its maybe happened once in my life. My latino friends in SLC get ID every time they pay with a card. Bars usually dont make me give them anything when I sit at the bar and order a drink. They just start a tab and I pay at the end. One of my black friends I go with to the bar gets asked every time for a card and sometimes for an id to go with the card, even at bars that he goes to frequently. In almost every situation people give me the benefit of the doubt. That same courtesy is not nearly as often given to others that are minorities. Cops let me go all the time with warnings. Cops rarely give me a second look in public. Employees never keep an eye on me in a store. The list of overt racism I see goes on and on.
Oddly people said China was racist towards white people but I have yet to see it. But ill keep paying attention. Maybe its my job here, but people here show a ton of respect to me and really value everything I say.
China is absolutely racist against whites. And something I found odd was that people in Rome are extremely racist against asians. Like out in the open for everyone to see and hear kind of racism. It was very uncomfortable to be around.

Do you have any instances of China being racist against white people? I've heard they're racist, yes, but not against whites. Most Asian countries are super racist but in a naive way because their cultures are so homogenized. They're the most racist against other Asians. My experience in Korea was that for white people (males) the experience is like the opposite of racism. More like welcoming an honored guest for the most part. Exceptions exist to that but I was always welcome in their country.
It could be the fact that you are American specifically. Also, How long were you there for? It's a big place too. China has multiple sub-cultures within.
I've heard that about China. I've been here a month and people jump through hoops for me and are extremely nice. I guess I'll see over time.China is absolutely racist against whites.
