2020 Presidential election

Bernie does not even know what type of government we have in the U.S. Is this really someone you want as president......

What? Both things can be true. It is not mutually exclusive. Garbage take. Of course the US is a democracy. A representavie republic is just the structure of government. Im sure he is well aware of that as well. Dont you guys hang your hat on being a democracy?

This video is most of you liberals in a nutshell. Completely unhinged. Video has swear words so do not watch if you are easily offended.

Also, if there was some sort of national healthcare system for all, I’d guess this would help companies and employees as well.

Do you not understand that Trump has autocratic tendancies? Dont know what your video proves except that people are passionite about their convictions and have a hard time dealing with people that implausibly oppose their way of thinking. Trumpers are much the same.

Though I guess Im proving your point by even responding. Both sides are guilty of not attempting dialogue.

Bernie and Biden. LOL

A socialist and a man with early signs of dementia.

Klobuchar just dropped out. Both she and Mayor Pete are endorsing Biden. I really like Warren but it’s probably time for her to hang it up and endorse someone. Why is Bloomberg still in the race?

The theory is to split the vote enough to keep anyone from a 1st ballot majority.

No. The thinking is to stop Sanders from winning the nomination. That is why they’re dropping out right now. By dropping out now, Pete and Amy hope that it swings the vote Biden’s way and he wins the most delegates for Super Tuesday (tomorrow). Even if we enter a brokered convention, it will be hard for Democrats to not award the candidate with the most delegates (Biden).

Had they all stayed, there is no way Biden would have a chance to be the lead delegate winner. A plurality of moderate votes would only help Sanders.

You asked why Bloomberg was still in the race you turd.

Is this post really justified? In my post I addressed Amy and Pete dropping out. My question about Bloomberg was facetious. If he’s thinking that he’s going to prevent anyone from obtaining a simple majority, then he’s dumber than we already imagined. The real reason is his ego.

you could try and be specific when answering questions about Bloomberg. It’s a bit confusing when we’re talking about 3 different candidates in one post.

This leaves Biden, Bloomberg, Gabbard, Sanders and Warren. I know who my vote will be going for tomorrow. Btw one thing I like about the Democratic party is that you don’t have to be affiliated to vote, I wished the Republicans did the same.

You asked one question. I dropped a one line reply. Don't be dense man.

You're very wrong about the how likely a majority is with and without him in the race (especially with others dropping). If he drops now it'll almost guarantee one of Bernie/Biden hit 50%. As of right now it's probably more likely that nobody gets a majority at all.

thanks for repeating what I said in my last post.

you could be clearer. Don’t be an ***.

him staying in only helps sanders. The person he’s claimed to not want to win.

Let’s be clear here, candidates dropping out right now are hoping for a unity of the moderate vote to defeat sanders. Bloomberg staying in doesn’t help that despite claiming that he’s running to stop Sanders.

if you’re motivated by helping the moderate to win, then clearly you should coalesce around Biden. If you’re staying in (whatever they motive) you’re only helping to split the moderate vote and help Sanders.

IMO, dropping out now helps Biden. Staying in helps sanders. Even if we end up with a brokered convention, dropping out now helps Biden become the leading delegate leader. Whoever the leader is will get the party’s nomination for president.

Don't lead with a terse little "No" like you're the beginning and end of all knowledge if you don't want to scrap.

And I disagree pretty clearly with Bloomberg staying in helping Sanders. If he drops it's probably small advantage to Biden, but Sanders has a very real chance of grabbing a majority there (especially as our garbage healthcare system is exposed in the coming weeks/months). If Bloomberg stays it's highly likely to go to a contested convention and unless Sanders was at 49.9% of the vote in round 1 I seriously doubt he takes it there.

why do you think Bloomberg staying doesn’t significantly hurt Biden? What does Bloomberg get from staying? Certainly he doesn’t have a path for victory, right?

Glad to see Dems acting like adults and consolidating the field before it's too late.

If only the viable candidates weren't all well past retirement age.

If Amy and Pete were going to drop out, I wish they would have done it before I wasted a vote for tomorrow's primary. Guess I won't vote early in future primaries.

Bloomberg’s political ads are the corniest **** there is.
I love the one line that goes something like "After 9/11 no one thought New York City could come back, but Mike did it!"

Like we all thought New York City was just going to go away because a few buildings were destroyed. It took Mike Bloomberg to raise NYC from the ashes, without him no more NYC.
