I'm still betting he votes republican. I'm sure there are millions of critical thinking Republicans who don't use much hyperbole or emotion in posts.

In fact, simply voting based off of party would be an easy way to vote without using emotion.

And for the record I didn't think that kavanaugh should have been disqualified because of some accusations from when he was a dumbass kid. I think people can change as they mature. I did think he seemed to be a bit unhinged throughout the process though and maybe shouldn't be a supreme court judge simply based off his behavior. Gotta force your dudes into positions while you have the power to whether it's the right thing to do or not though.

Regarding the first part, there's significantly more liberal posters here (at least that actively post), than the other way around. Larger sample size to draw from. Otherwise you have PJF (lol), Scat, myself, Infection, and idk what Archie is. Oh, and Colton!

I believe most of the posters here wanted Kavanaugh to be investigated, and then use those results to determine what happens to his nomination. Which I believe, is perfectly valid thinking.

As far as him being unhinged (lol), I mean, if I was falsely accused of sexual assault, and treated that way in front of the whole country, I'd be pretty ticked too. More importantly, there was nothing in his judicial history that indicated he was unhinged, and as of present, he hasn't acted that way on the SC.

To return to my point though. The media has not treated the situations the same. Biden wasn't even asked questions about it for something like a month! If you can't see the hypocrisy, and I'm not going to point out every single example for you, then I've got some ocean front property in North Dakota for sale.

Maybe the media hasn't treated the situations the same because they aren't the same.
Maybe the accusers are different and don't have the same amount of credibility. Maybe the accused are different from each other and have different pasts. Was there a different amount of urgency in the asking of questions for kavanaugh vs Biden? Like maybe Biden wasn't going to have an opportunity to become president for months so there was time to wait and investigate the claims a bit more where a decision on kavanaugh becoming a supreme court justice was happening quickly.
Maybe for the position of supreme court its more important to have a cleaner record than for president. I mean look at what we knew about trump prior to his presidency. He had already committed fraud, adultery multiple times while his multiple wives were pregnant, slept with a porn star and used campaign money to pay her to keep quiet, grab em by the ***** etc. Maybe the supreme court nominees are held to a higher standard than the presidential nominees. Hell, some of those things we knew about trump probably actually helped him win the presidency.
It would be hypocritical to put Biden to the fire and hold him accountable right after we just let trump do all the things he did and then get voted for president. A precedent had been set when Trump ran for president. We now know that holding presidential candidates accountable for their actions is no longer a thing we do.

If you want two different things to be treated exactly the same way then I have some ocean front property in Iowa for sale.

I have always thought that the medias main motivation for covering a story is to get clicks and eyes on their content.

Wouldn't a presidential candidate raping someone get a lot of clicks and eyes?

Why would the media want to floss over that or not cover it? Only 2 reasons I can think of. 1. They just adore Biden and want him to be the next president. Does that make any sense for the media if they are motivated by clicks and eyes on their content? Biden seems pretty boring. Trump writes articles for the media everyday via tweet. The media has never had it so good. Which is ironic cause trump acts as if he hates the media yet because of trump business is booming for the media. So looking at that info objectively you have to think the media is rooting for another trump victory to keep their business booming.
2. There just isn't anything credible for the media to sink their teeth into and therefore they wouldn't get the clicks and the eyes they desire so they moved on.

They aren't the same situation - multiple accusers came forth against Kavanaugh. Which is typical in these types of cases

In 50+ years of public service one person came forward against Biden.

It's never ONE person with these types - Weinstein, Lauer, Clinton......Trump

Just another day where the Times comes out with a story quoting cabinet members talking about how trump blows off intelligence reports. Trump then whines about how Fox News isn’t helping him enough. He then visits Ford factory without a mask. And reads a speech sprinkled with anti-semitism. And I’m sure he’ll do another 2-3 dumb things tonight that would’ve ended any other president.

While not sexual assault, at least I don't think it is, Biden has 8 women accusing him of being too touchy, making them uncomfortable, etc.

Yes he is a creepy dude with his lack of personal space. Pretty sure most on the left agree with that. It's kind of what he is known for. Making us all feel uncomfortable. Wish he wasn't the Democratic candidate.

Quotes like that from Biden would sink most candidates, but the political gaffe simply doesn’t matter anymore in this day and age.
