So whatever happened to Trump's executive order to suspend payroll taxes? Nothing on my paycheck ever changed.

I’m not sure why, but I haven’t felt the least little bit of confidence that the Ds will take the Senate.

It wouldn't anyway. Companies have plenty of opportunities to keep any money that frees up.

I guess I have no idea what it was intended to do. I thought the idea was to put more money in the pockets of workers, but you're saying that was never going to happen.

Yeah, I mean I get that part. But there was supposed to be an actual thing that happened and as far as I can tell it didn't happen, at least not for me.
 
I think a lot of companies opted out. Mine did. It was only going to make things worse next year. Our president doesn't care.

I believe his decision making went something like this:

I hate paying payroll taxes for my employees. Since I'm the president, I'm going to say that no one has to pay them by the power of my mighty pen. I have no idea what they fund and I don't care. I have no idea what the implications of this decision are and I don't care. I'm not going to listen to my advisors or read the briefs because I know more about this than anyone. I saved myself and my rich friends lots of money. It won't trickle down to the workers, but they won't notice because they love me.

For the battleground states, I'm really hoping that the sensible people out vote the liberal idiots who want to lockdown the country and censor free speech.

Why do you like to generalize huge groups of people as all being the same and wanting the same thing? Strange behavior from you.
I voted for Biden but I have never wanted the country to be locked down, in fact I have always though things should be opened up more than they are. I also dont want to sensor free speech.
These people that you hatefully refer to as liberal idiots consists of many millions of people with different thoughts and opinions. Many of whom you would probably like and think of as good people were you to actually get to know them. Certainly most of them are undeserving of your hate.
I hope that most of our country has a better opinion of their fellow americans than you do. Statements like yours make my heart ache for our fragmented and divided once great nation.

And voting for Biden when you want the country opened up more than it currently is like kicking yourself in the nuts everyday for the next four years. If there is one thing that the winner of the race will actually impact, it's the covid lockdown policies. That's by far the most important factor that will swing the election this year. It's not about voting for a narcissist vs a senile old man. It's about lockdown vs no lockdown.

Republicans let states decide how to handle the matter. So if the liberal states want to keep locking down their citizens, they will be able to. But if Biden wins, they will force nationwide lockdowns, even for states like Wyoming and Utah.

Oh wah, **** was locked down for a couple weeks in like April when there was a disease we hardly knew anything about. I'm still crying about it and it's almost November. I'm a big ****ing baby and the lockdown hurt my little baby feelings. Now I go into public and pull my mask down to show all those libtards who the real ****ing idiot is.
