2021 NBA Draft Preview (new thread)

I would love this but how would we make it work salary wise?
Its not that hard. Clarkson makes 12 million a year, Gordon makes 18, Favors makes 9. You can easily send those two out and get Gordon back and save a little bit of money (though it might not ultimately be enough to appease ownership, I dont know). It would have to be a multi-team deal.

I wonder if the Jazz could trade Clarkson, get a pick back then trade for Eric Gordon and get a pick back

Basically the Jazz sell high on Clarkson, buy low on Gordon, rehab Gordon's value back to being an elite 6th man.

Not sure how this would work, but I think it's plausible?
I heard Houston might use Gordon as a way to move up to 13 with Indiana… Gordon 23&24 for 13 and expiring contracts… kinda wild because I figured his value was ****.

A two step deal that Nets you a pick for Bogey and Clarkson then routing Favs for stuff is something I’d really be trying to do. Allow yourself to use taxpayer MLE and net a trade exception. Adding in some good youth is important imo.

This kinda sucks for us. I assume kings keep Montrez and now are out the Favs bizness… unless they want to swap Trez for Favs and expand the deal.

Buddy a solid pickup for the Lakers but maybe he has too much Kings stank on him to be a winning piece.

Here we go

Cost cutting maneuver by Sarver… I like Carter… Nets did good there… paying through the nose in luxury tax and still taking on dough.

I had the same thought about losing a destination for Favors. I think this trade helps the Lakers, I can't believe they didn't even have to give up their 22nd pick,

It will be in there. Question is will Kings send back a second.

***** actually gonna go down tonight lol

that trade can't happen without a Schroeder sign and trade... but it does imply that Beal may be on his way out.

Apparently the lakers are trading Kuzma and Harrell twice... once to Washington and once to Sacramento... We never try this ****... get out the box JZ.

Also... Harrell, KCP and Kuzma adds up to ~35M, while Russ is at ~44M. That can't work, can it?

Literally would have to send Gasol and McKinnie and be left with three players with guaranteed contacts.
