I read it that way too, but then I thought more about what he was saying:

In MJ's day, NOBODY was thought to be on his level. Morant is saying if MJ played today, more guys would be seen at his level.

All the guys of MJ's era were good no doubt, but the media and MJ's play put him on a pedestal that he wouldn't have today.

Oh 2k sim. That's even worse. We did run it through 2k for fun a couple teams 2 years ago. The games are beyond silly and unrealistic. But it's pretty fun to do.

Media made MJ a god and everybody was good. Today's media is mixed on everybody. Good and bad reports. In MJ's day, the media never covered flaws or even wrote negative stories.

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I think prime Jordan wouldn't have dominated today's game. He would have been very good, DeRozan good, but not what he was in his era.
