I would say:

Give Oladipo some of the MLE
Re-sign Juancho to a cheaper deal
Sign Yuta Watanabe for whatever it takes
Sign Mike Muscala
Sign Troy Brown JR.
Get Trevelin Queen, Yuta, Troy Brown, bring back House or Juancho (or both if they both take minimums)

Just let it play out... you will find a couple useable wings. I like Muscala at the minimum as well. I don't think we have a shot at winning anything great... so just stay nimble and find some diamonds. Eventually blow this **** up.

That would be my strategy. Honestly wouldn’t mind adding Paschall to that list as well - depending on what he gets.

There's like ZERO reason not to add Dipo if he wants to come.

Guess what? If the Jazz flame out this year, they are going to tank the following year.

Might as well go all in (short of trading draft picks) and get the most potential you can on the team.

Look we won't get KD... but what if Brooklyn wanted to pair Don and BS... Phoenix sends Bridges, all their future picks, Ayton... Brooklyn gets Don and maybe Ayton... we take Bridges and the picks? I don't know but I could see a scenario where the best package for KD is a rebuild package that Brooklyn isn't interested in... we give Don and take on a better rebuild package than we would have got in a 2 team deal.

I don’t disagree completely - I’m just hesitant after the commitments made to Favors and Gay recently. Both of those deals seem to have bitten us on the ***.

Yeah becuase the Jazz had to move them to get off salary for the owner.

If the Jazz tank, they will be getting off salary by tanking and trading away their stars. It won't be an issue. We will just have Oladipo on our tanking team. He will either be injured, or he will get to be our star who we can raise his value while we tank and trade him mid-season.

Teams throwing around max contracts like they are candy.

If I were any of those teams and really wanted him, I’d offer him an offer sheet and try to add a guy like that without having to give up assets. Maybe the Suns just match it and live with the results though.

True, but everyone in the league knows PHX wants to sign-and-trade Ayton for value in return, and they can't if Ayton signs an offer sheet first. PHX will have to match the offer and hold onto Ayton until the trade deadline. It takes them out of the trade market for now.
