I'd be pretty upset if we took a guy like Hendricks over a Wallace/Bufkin. Need that high value guard prospect on the roster more than we need a 3&D weakside rim protector.

Some brutal finishing against middle tier competition/size.
Literally none of them are.Taylor Hendricks shot 44% on layups this season FYI. He's not an infallible prospect.
I'm also not suggesting anyone other than Victor is in a tier of his own.Literally none of them are.
If Indiana doesn't land top 4 then I think that is where he ends up. If Walker is available they may go that route instead.Starting to feel like Hendricks is gonna go 8 :/
Well one of you got the story wrong... Boston selected Thybulle because they knew Philly wanted him... then they made them give up an additional high second round pick.Sarah Todd said Danny Ainge faked out the Sixers and made it seem like they wanted Thybulle which forced Philly to take him earlier than they wanted. Interesting insight.
If Wallace and Bufkin are there at 9 with Hendo... you take Hendo and hope one of those guys is available (they likely would be) at 13. Hendo would not.I'd be pretty upset if we took a guy like Hendricks over a Wallace/Bufkin. Need that high value guard prospect on the roster more than we need a 3&D weakside rim protector.
Now you care about a big with some finishing issues… interesting
Even mediocre fantasy football gms know you gotta play the turn and look at the picks together. OKC likely not going pg, Dallas or NY? prolly not, Orlando? they have Fultz Suggs and another high pick... where they may take a pg. Toronto likely strongly considers a pg... so it depends on if we are talking the 13th or the 15th/16th pick.Bufkin will be available with the Wolves pick. And if he isn’t then Wallace, Dick, or Black probably will be.
We have no idea if that's true. We dont even know what NBA teams are really thinking. Bufkin is going to go to the combine and put up bonkers numbers and be young than a number of the highly ranked Freshman ahead of him. There's still a lot of room for a prospect to really rise past our current perception of their stock.Bufkin will be available with the Wolves pick. And if he isn’t then Wallace, Dick, or Black probably will be.

Made as much as Hendricks attempted. High level of difficulty carrying a tourney team who won the ACC finals. I care about numbers with context and eye contest. This is not the gotcha you think it is.

I guess Hendo's solution to his layup issue was to just mash on people instead... lol.
I think you are on to something... didn't a gm try that once... what was his name... I Kahnnnnnnnnnnn't think of it right now.I also think we are getting to a point where PG's are going to be a bit more valuable.
A lot of the former top PGs are aging out and what not. When you look around the league PG is getting a bit thin.
I dont think grabbing two at the top of the Jazz's draft is a bad choice. Granted they can both shoot, are good defenders, and can play off each other theoretically.
Hendo also plays on the perimeter more because he's a serious threat out there. There was some stat about dunks and 3s with Hendo... too lazy to look it up... vary Lauri like type of stat though.Made as much as Hendricks attempted. These numbers just make me a bit lower than Hendricks. He's barely getting any rim attempts while being a 6'9 super athlete in a non-power conference.
You take Bufkin/Wallace together you got two dogs who can really pressure ball-handlers. Both are chase down block artist from the guard position. Both rebound their position. Both can play on/off ball effectively. Both can shoot off the catch.I also think we are getting to a point where PG's are going to be a bit more valuable.
