And teams did. He was a lottery talent that fell to the 2nd round.

I think there needs to be a distinction about that. Most players don't make it because they're just not good enough. Even the healthy ones.

Ainge drafted Neismith, Langford, Timelord, Sullinger....A lot of guys that had injury concerns IIRC. But if trying to glean some insight from his draft history I think it's that he likes the bluechip HS prospects.

I kind of feel like Jones is more of an asset than a part of Washington's future. Certainly could fetch more than a #30 pick that they were getting before. Somebody would overpay for him at the trade deadline.
