2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I like Anthony Black and Jarace Walker more as NBA players than as college players. They both do a bit of everything and would fit the modern, positionless game. They're not stars necessarily, but they wouldn't screw away tonight's game the way Conley, Clarkson and Olynyk did.

Didnt watch, but Brandon Miller had a good game against a good defenisve team in Mississippi State.

Kind of hilarious looking at the boxscore. MS State is a very untalented offensive team and their best offensive player went 1/7 from the field and 3/15 from the FT line. I dont know if I have ever seen a less efficient box score in my life.

I kind of the feel the same way with Keyonte George. In a game with more space like in the nba he is going to create much cleaner looks.

It is insane that dariq whitehead has dropped as far as he has. He was a player being talked about in the top 10 to start maybe even top 5.
He has sucked mostly. I think it is more because he is behind a bit because of injury, but its justified. Lots of guys drop out the pre-season top 10. He likely goes in the teens and I would gamble on him there. He may pick up his play and end up top 10... but thus far he has been invisible and pretty meh.

If we can come out of this draft with Anthony Black and Taylor Hendricks I would be geeked. Don't think we need to tank too hard to get that done.

I’ll settle for just Anthony Black.
Honestly probably this but I'm still feeling a little greedy. Black would make so much sense for us. I am just worried he ends up being like a top 6 guy and we aren't able to get into that draft range.

That is non-sense we are jumping into the top-4 with Minnesota’s pick.

I think Hawkins could be very dangerous if he is able to round out his offense game with more efficiency within the 3pt line. He's so fast w/ his shot and how he works off the ball. Hard not to feel strong Ray Allen vibes with him being a UConn player.

Is he generally a solid defender? I'm intrigued.
