I can use both numbers and eyes because both work.
They do not work for you, because you made them up when it comes to your understanding of the modern NBA game.

We have to draft Grady Dick now and pair him with Dink... Dick and Dink... come on its too fun.
9th is like the worst place to be.
Black can’t shoot.
Cason undersized
Dick low ceiling
I just hope we can trade up.
All I care is his name is Dink and Dick's name is Dick... I'm here for the innuendo analysis.High school prospect dunk highlights slapped in 2003.
Not so much in 2023.
They signed him because they thought he was good. If you are fully tanking you being in a young GLeague guy. Not a veteran .He was playing in the G league...no one could have predicted that he would play so well for us.

Signing Kris Dunn is adding an asset to the portfolio IF it goes well. I think it very much fits with the theme of accumulating assets even if (or maybe especially if) the team loses games.Signing Kris Dunn isn't full tank.
2005 - 2014: ‘OMG, Deron Williams and Jrue Holiday are massive!’In what world is Cason undersized?
Alright... gonna attempt a top 20 since we have the 16th pick.
1-Wemby
2-Scoot
3-Miller
4- Whitmore
5-Amen
6- Ausar
7- Tay Henny
8- Walker
9- Wallace
10- Black
11- Hawkins
12- Dick
13- Keyonte
14- Bufkin
15- Howard
16 - Sidy
17 - Whitehead
18 - Bilal
19- Sensabaugh
20- Leonard Miller
Man right at the 15/16 range it gets tough for me. Assuming no one awesome falls I wonder if we could do a 16 and 28 for 21 and 22 deal with Brooklyn. I think there is a small chance Hawkins or George are there at 16 so I wouldn't do it until we were on the clock.

it's hilarious. as long as he can tell somebody they're wrong, he is happy as a clam. there is something adorable about it, tbhCy playing both sides on GG is elite stuff. Seriously.
Re: Locke and the draft, few “experts” seem to know less here than Locke.
No surprise that your familiar (me) pretty much has the same board (different order of Black/Grady/Hawkins and GG is firmly in the conversation for #16) and agrees with maybe swapping out the Wolves/Sixers picks with the Nets picks depending on how the draft plays out.Alright... gonna attempt a top 20 since we have the 16th pick.

I want to put Bilal higher... but just not quite enough draft internet nerd hype yet. I would be happy if we took him somewhere though.I do my list in tiers, but very close to what I have. Of the top of my head I have:
Higher:
Walker
Bilal
Lower
Hendo
Hawkins
Otherwise everyone else is next to someone in their tier....and nobody is off by more than one tier.
GG is just kind of on my do not draft list. I don't like the ball hogginess or the attitude/immaturity stuff. I would take him with a pick in the 20s but 16 just is too high and there are other guys I will like more.No surprise that your familiar (me) pretty much has the same board (I’m higher on Grady, lower on Hawkins, GG is firmly in the conversation for #16) and agrees with maybe swapping out the Wolves/Sixers picks with the Nets picks depending on how the draft plays out.
Yeah and I know I'm likely in the minority there. I get the appeal... Hendricks is very much I kind of dug in on Walker vs. Hendricks and am gonna ride it...I think this is super solid. Whitmore over Amen and Hendricks over Walker are both pretty bold though.
Hawkins is also bad around the rim, right? Guys that have gravity at the 3-point line AND the rim have serious value in stretching/scrambling the defense. I just think Dick is a better talent with more dimension to his game. Hawkins is obviously lights out but a lot of prospects have been.GG is just kind of on my do not draft list. I could see everyone feeling totally dumb about Hawkins or Dick dropping into the late lotto. I think Hawkins might be able to scale his scoring easier but Dick does a lot of stuff as a connector which I love. That's a tough one for me.
