Gortman heating up
Longer, leaner, taller. More upside potential, especially on offense, but raw.I watch Leonard Miller highlights and all I see is rich-man's Jarred Vanderbilt, if he keeps developing. Maybe a little bigger, probably has a bit more upside. From the stats, likely a lot better at finishing inside. But is that outside shot ever going to look better than Vando's?
Just an observation from someone who's watched far too little ...
My top 5 from the G-League Combine to be invited to NBA Combine would be (no order)
- Dillon Jones
- Tristan Newton
- Colin Castleton
- Jazian Gortman
- Sir Jabari Rice
Tankathon has us taking Hendricks at 9. Let's goooooooooooo
Jazzfanz definitely do not want to grab Dick for a month straightThey finally updated it? They've had us grabbing Dick for like a month straight.
You know it’s a mock right?Tankathon has us taking Hendricks at 9. Let's goooooooooooo
It’s only been a month? Felt longer than that. They finally updated it? They've had us grabbing Dick for like a month straight.
I'm intrigued by Bobi Klintman in comparison to Leonard Miller. I believe in the shooting, passing and fluidity a bit more. Both are going to have some problems defending in space and moving laterally, imo.
PSA: NBA Combine starts on Tuesday.

meh, they have size and talent, but it reminds me of eybl an **** like that - a ton of talent, but the defensive effort and schemes just don't make things difficult. so much tougher to score and put up numbers in high school games than eybl and in college games than ote. Also, for people who really like to dump on OTE and call it garbage competition.
The starting lineups for City Reaperz and YNG Dreamerz have a pretty insane level of talent and size. How many college games did yall watch this year where both teams had a 7' center with a 7'5+ wingspan?
Yeah, some of these dudes are pretty young, but the talent is real and they construct their teams in a way that mimics NBA size in a way college teams dont.
The biggest thing is the inbounding ball rules. There is no resetting of the ball so it's chaos and that leads to a lot of up and down basketball without much defense. When you watch the Championship games, it's a lot more half-court. IMO they need to get rid of that rule if they want to be a better development league and not just a highlights league.meh, they have size and talent, but it reminds me of eybl an **** like that - a ton of talent, but the defensive effort and schemes just don't make things difficult. so much tougher to score and put up numbers in high school games than eybl and in college games than ote.
KOC gets kinda reactive but nothing I hate. I like the idea of Klintman as well... I think if he really goes that high (have my doubts) the hype may be a bit ahead of itself. Just a small sample and the per minute production wasn't bonkers like say a Tari Eason.KOC’s latest big board update:
Black at 6
Hendricks at 7
Whitmore at 9
Bufkin at 10
Klintman at 14
Miller at 15
Bilal at 17
You got to watch teh Klintman U20 highlights to get the hype.KOC gets kinda reactive but nothing I hate. I like the idea of Klintman as well... Would be pretty good imo and I'd be happy with it. Probably would have gone frontcourt with one of the picks though... either Hendricks or Miller in one of the spots. If Sensabaugh is available at 28 thats a steal. Both him and Whitehead were both available in that scenario.KOC's mock has us taking Wallace, Bufkin (I like that combo), and Sensabaugh
