2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I know zero about college ball and draft stuff. Who are the top 3-4 shooters likely to be in our range ??

I’m assuming that if Ainge sees players in terms of playing in the playoffs shooting is what they will prioritise?

Dick/Hawkins/Jett
For context, JHS has a better pull-up 3P percentage (37% on 54 3PA) than premium shooters like Brandon Miller (33% on 76 3PA), Sensabaugh (26% on 31 3PA), Whitehead (36% on 22 3PA), Jett Howard (30% on 63 3PA), Jordan Hawkins (31% on 58 3PA), and Keyonte George (35% on 99 3PA).

Basically, the only lottery-caliber shooter in this draft with better pull-up 3P shooting is Gradey Dick, who shot a scorching 53.5% but only on 43 pull-up 3PA
Oh, that's crazy. JHS is a better pullup shooter than 2/3rds of the players you consider the best shooters yet you say he can't shoot.

It's kind of interesting that the 'Curry Era' has been happening long enough that all of these prospects grew up with him and know what kind of NBA they are entering, yet everyone seems completely *** at shooting anyway? I thought this was the skill that the next generation was definitely going to have in spades? Yet it seems to be the flaw with basically every prospect.

College spacing and offense sucks, and it really seems like people truly develop their shots once they are already in the league. Percentages do very little for me. Show me good mechanics and work ethic.
