Backup 5's are more valuable now than you think in your head. The backup big has grown in value tremendously the last 3 years and WCJ has major health issues, it makes sense.

What? I think it's a very legit thing. Could they have done better asset management? Of course, but the player they got fits their team better than any rookie could at 11. The Magic already have enough young assets.

Yeah, Locke took Wallace. He said today he would probably have changed his pick if they did it today (meaning Bufkin), but I'm pretty sure this draft was done a week or so ago before he had his Bufkin revelation.
