Tbh - that would pretty much account for any of the top 10 players outside of probably Wemby and maybe Scoot. Everybody else is young and has huge upside. . . but it’s all about development.

Right, with all the draft excitement we tend to forget that it usually takes a few years before these drafted kids make a difference (if they do at all). Just think how many players under 24 or 25 typically play in the starting lineup of a championship team.

Amen makes me queasy, but so does Scoot, Miller, Cam….It’s a shaky 2-5. This year.

I’d love to get Amen, but am not sure he is worth what we would probably have to give up to get him (assume 4-6 range).

I just think about how long it took Giannis and Tatum to really break out. We have to have that talent in the pipeline, but the Jazz shouldn’t count on anyone they draft being the franchise savior quite yet.

With that said, I still think the Jazz should prioritize length and athleticism.

Jokic for #28 gives them some extra value back from the #41 pick they spent on him originally. It’s an overpay, but I’d be willing to do it in that scenario.
