2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I’m glad this whole thing will be over tonight.

One thing I know for sure will happen is that Locke and Jones, regardless if our pick(s) are good or not, will be talking about how genius our FO is and these were the players we always wanted.

Andy Larsen and Sarah Todd give better analysis imo.
Sarah will only like it if it’s a white player

PEople should be allowed to like players other than Lebron, Kobe or Jordan.

I saw an interview where Miller was talking **** about MJ and I loved it.
Yeah, it's not a big deal, but Rome's bit on it was pretty funny.

If you want to get literal then him thinking Paul George is the best basketball player to ever play, is really really stupid.

Just spitballing a trade idea:

UTA out: 9/16
UTA in: 5

DET out: 5
DET in: 9/25/2024 GSW 1st

BOS out: 25/2024 GSW 1st
BOS in: 16

If the Jazz are going to try to get Dame then maybe they should stay at 9 and trade up from 16 only. They should lose their obsession with Black if the cost is too high.

At some points we got to believe the reports that are coming out.

The messaging has been the Jazz want positional size, length, shooting, defense, and playmaking. We havent heard any messaging that the Jazz want scoring or high upside #1 option types.

I think the Cam fans should prep themselves for Utah passing on him.

Question. Were Ainge’s picks in Boston predictable? I mean, Smart sort of was. That draft sucked. I personally felt Tatum was and felt all along he would be the best player in that draft. I liked the Brown pick but was he predicted to be taken at 3 by Boston?
