There could have been a scenario if Cam didnt fall for w/e reason we would have had Black.Washington saved us from drafting Bilal. I am super grateful for that.

Wild roster but they all can’t be that dude. 2-3 are going to have to concede to paying a role for them to be a great team.Houston has some dumb ****ing potential on their team. Absolutely nutty. If Ime Udoka is HIM as a coach he should have these dudes competing for rings in 3-4 years.
I dont think he was ever going to Orlando. The alternate universe where he workouts well and has no medical issues he probably goes 5 to Detroit which pushes Ausar to Orlando. Then Indy still probably takes Walker, but Washington has to choose between Black and Bilal and Utah gets whose left.F'ing Whitmore man. Couldn't present a little bit better and not completely tank your stock? I want to live in the alternate universe where Orlando takes him at #6.
That's bold.I feel good in saying he will be better than everyone taken at 4-8 in the draft.
If any of the teams who drafted 4-8 called me and said they would trade the guy they picked for Hendricks straight up I would say no.
I stand with FishI had Tay Henny #5 on my board. Thats with Cam at #4. So throw Cam out and I had Hendricks at #4. Im stoked. I feel good in saying he will be better than everyone taken at 4-8 in the draft. The only one I think might surpass him is Walker.

Probably a combination of medical concerns, bad workouts, and horrible interviews. I can't find anything to backup the vaping thing.Did we ever get any solid info on why Cam Whitmore fell so far? Seems like one of the biggest stories of the draft and I'm surprised there's not more clear commentary about it.
Of it was the character then it’s possible teams have been told to keep it quiet as to not taint the NBA.Did we ever get any solid info on why Cam Whitmore fell so far? Seems like one of the biggest stories of the draft and I'm surprised there's not more clear commentary about it.
I have a vague sense that something like that is going on... like there are character concerns that to verbalize would just come across as labeling a young kid in a way that creates a bad look or something. Seems like it can't be something medical--that's a really standard, easy, common thing to point to for someone sliding and there'd be no reason to pull that particular punch.Of it was the character then it’s possible teams have been told to keep it quiet as to not taint the NBA.

According to Fisher it was a knee and a foot thing. Dated back to something that happened in 8th and 9th grade or something... I think from like 10-20 its worth the risk... Houston kind of a **** environment for him to learn though. I like Amen and Cam... hopefully Fertitta stays out of the way and lets them all grow. It's medicals.
I believe he averaged more points than anyone in that range (not sure about the twins cause of the league they played in) and did it while not being considered a scorer or ball handler and did it more efficiently than all of them. Also rebounded decently and played very good defense. You could easily argue he was the best offensive player of the bunch and best defensive player of the bunch. Has size, length and athleticism. Just didn't have the magic hypothetical potential upside or whatever. He was basically the best player of the everyone picked in that range if you go off production. Production is what matters to me. Way more than what you hypothetically might could do.That's bold.
Really hope you are right.
Its probably one of those things that will come up in 4-6 years. Kind of scary because he could hit early then you pay him big and his body breaks down.According to Fisher it was a knee and a foot thing. Think the nba teams maybe overreacted... again.
You must be insanely hyped about Sensabaugh then.I believe he averaged more points than anyone in that range (not sure about the twins cause of the league they played in) and did it while not being considered a scorer or ball handler and did it more efficiently than all of them. Idk if he has the length, athleticism, size of Hendricks and Im not sure you could say Brice is the best defender of the players picked 4-9. But ya, brice seems to be a good scorer. You must be insanely hyped about Sensabaugh then.
