2023 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread

Gobert a non-factor defensively against Jokic.. the guy he should be effective against. Feel so bad for Minny fans...
It’s been truly amazing how the “Joker Stopper” was completely torn apart this series. Gobert to me looks like he’s lost some athleticism. I think a member here said that he’s struggling with a back injury. Maybe that’s it? He just doesn’t seem to have the same jumping ability/ability to contest as he used to. Major bummer for twolve fans. They should’ve just rolled with Kessler. Honestly, he might be better than Gobert is already.

This was a winnable game for Minny.. amazing how they've let it slip away .. just so casual defensively and aimless offensively.. smh..

Edwards is like a bigger version of Spida. Offensively? He can score against anyone with his unreal physical gifts and shot. But he doesn’t play defense, distribute the ball, lead, or actually do anything to help your team win.
Yes but he is 21. And seems to be a hard worker, so he may improve. They have a big issue for sure with the 2 big contracts from Rudy and KAT. Rudy habe a decent night, Mike did not do much. Don't understand how he can take only 3 3pts when he shoot 6 at regular season ( at 42%)......seems not good. The best team by far win tonight. As i say before, Minny will probably don't travel to Denver again before new season !!

Now Gobert has fouled out... talk about going out on a whimper..
Rudy has a decent games, 5 offensive board as much as the entire Denver team lead by the best C in the NBA. But his defense is not jazz level, He don't block, don't jump much..... could be his back hurting or maybe just age coming.....

Man, kind of wish we could’ve seen Russ play for us if he was gonna do this.
He seems to only do good when he is forced to do everything. If he has to allow others to get involved a ton then he either disappears or actively hurts the team. I dont want that on the jazz.

Alsot he Jazz obviously weren't trying to win and were actively going out of their way to play talent less to lower the odds of that happening.

Russ is poison to championship aspirations, but he's a godsend for a team with no talent (if they're trying to win). The ultimate floor-raiser.
