I’m aware…. He’s also not been in a situation where he’s been required to be a good defender… I’m sure he could rather it up a notch or two if he isn’t required to get 30 and 5 every night. I think he can get to average or below average on the right squad. His health has been the main thing that has held him back last few years.

Hmmmm I’d imagine part of that is an 8 for 3 swap and wiz having to take Nurkic. Would also imagine Deni Avdija could get involved maybe. Also might be a deal they do if Scoot goes #2 as there might be less interest in Miller or Amen.

Yep. He might have the power to control where he goes, but not if he doesn’t get traded at all. Take the lowball offers, tell them “Thanks, but we’re just going to keep him at that price.” Start your rebuild and then wait for Beal’s camp to start pushing for a realistic trade package.

I like Porzingis alongside Lauri because I think we could revamp his game. But I don't see this happening at all.

What about the #3 to the wizards for Beal? Beal and Dame together? Maybe... But portland would need to send Nurkic and Simons for salary purposes along with the #3 and likely another 2 futures.

It’s not way off if Scoot goes 2… when you factor in the contracts. Zinger was n an expiring deal is an asset imo.

Beal should be going to Portland with Porzingis for #3, Simons, and Nurkic but Beal can veto any trade so he’s forcing his way to Miami or Phoenix.
