2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

That would be a coup for Washington. They’re gonna get more for Porzingis than they are for their franchise player that’s been in trade rumors for 6 years.
It would but I also get it from Portland ( I mean they should be pivoting but under this scenario). Maybe Kispert and Avdija are in the deal.

Now if Scoot is available they should do a bunch better than this.

Let say it’s Brandon Miller, Simons, Nurkic for Zinger, Avdija, Taylor Hendricks or Jarace Walker or Anthony Black… it’s not ideal but Portland needs multiple parts.

I also love Deni Avdija… I think he’s a guy I’d be trying to pry away for some draft capital.

I would consider Beal as a neutral asset on his contract. I can't think of any team he greatly changes their outlook. Wizards has to be hoping for matching salary that expires and a single first rounder. Maybe if you're lucky the team who trades for him has a decent rookie contract prospect they won't be attached to.

Maybe Milwaukee? They are absolutely asset strapped though, but I think a single first rounder is about as much as you can hope to get out of Beal. I'd take salary matching, Beauchamp, and a first and call it good if I'm Washington. It how the **** so they match that albatross contract?

Problem with Milwaukee is the only way to match salary is with Jrue or Khris.

Miami is the best fit all around (if ny isn’t on the list) Beal may raise his game… and lord knows they need a scoring punch.

Beal should be going to Portland with Porzingis for #3, Simons, and Nurkic but Beal can veto any trade so he’s forcing his way to Miami or Phoenix.
I don't think any team will be able to afford a Beal-Dame backcourt with this new CBA. Those two will combine to make a whopping $120 mil in the 2026-27 season. How can you even build a team around them without going seriously into the 2nd apron?

If you live in a market every player wants to live in (vet minimums) and you are the best organization in the league at churning out successes from undrafted free agents.

There are also several years between now and then.

I think it would end up being Zinger, Deni , 8 for Simons, nurkic, 3

It’s not way off if Scoot goes 2… when you factor in the contracts. Zinger was n an expiring deal is an asset imo.
Throwing in Simons doesn't make it better for the blazers. Simons is a really good young player.

I like him but guessing trade interest isn’t super high. I was just saying I get it I guess. It’s not great but I think the value of their pick sky rockets if Scoot is there… and it looks like he will not be there.

I think Indiana may be targeting Kuzma in free agency, which is partly why they're reportedly willing to move out of 7 in the draft.
