2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

That is logical, but like what we saw with Dallas/Luka, if FO/Ownership is fed up with him, they might just be ready to move on and not make a logical decision.
Also, I saw a spoof making fun of Harrison saying he got groomed by Pelinka and honestly... there are a lot of similar tactics he used. I think that one was one of one and Pelinka really took advantage of a relationship. Reminded me of what Danny did to Kevin Mchale.

Guys... everything Miami is doing is about the tax. They are about to duck the tax... again.

I bet Miami moves Duncan Robinson or Davion to get under the tax. They still have some work to do but their cap guy is next level.

Actually... Sexton for Rozier would get them under the tax... they just got a first from GS... would be bold to trade for Rozier right now lol.

Davion for Svi would drop them below the tax.

I've long been a Davion doubter, Jared Butler still >>>>>>.....but I honestly still wouldn't mind taking a flier on him. He could fit in the room exception, but Svi might be useful for them.
I don't think they have any second round picks left after the latest flurry. I'd want something. I also might just cut the guy and let him go so we can sign some other prospect. I don't want any guys we feel we have to play unless they are prospects.

The Rozier deal would be pretty wild with what he has going on but if cleared then whatevs... if not cleared then he comes off the books I suppose (I think that's how it would work).

Maybe we can split their Warrors pick or swap it with others? I still think the Rozier deal would be smart business for them. Sexton is an upgrade on the court (both basketball and legal) and it will help them shed salary.

I'm also kind of surprised they didn't reroute Wiggins because he interferes with their future max cap space plans. Ware has been awesome, but I think Collins would be a great addition to that front court. They have Jaime and Jovic on the wing, so it's not like the had to get back another one in the Jimmy deal.

Svi and the Lakers pick for Mitchell and the Warriors pick? IDK if I would want that... Even a Clarkson for Robinson deal would get them there. They likely have some devil magic where they get it for free tho.

I've declared bankruptcy on figuring out who has what....but I guess that makes sense? Maybe we can add in one of their future first and swap it with our other swap spaghetti years.

Just in general, I think they are good trade partners with us because we can get them out of the tax and we have a set of good 2 year contract players.
