2024 annual Jazzfanz All time jazz draft

Literally running to get on a flight but

We got a trade to announce I think

My 77 and 84 for 69 and 92

Confirm @Domino then you’re OTC

The thing that cracks me up is that Thee mentioned that he wanted ‘Melo, and then probably had a shot at him. . . but then @Domino swept in like a bird of prey and snatched him up before he could do anything about it.

He took manu from me earlier in the draft after saying he wasn’t going to… I probably would’ve stayed put if he didn’t say anything

Oh, I see. The draft has been kind of messy.
I have a thought about that. I really like the concept of using the different eras and the strategy that goes into it, but I hate the early 2000’s. I think it’s the weakest one of all of them, and I rarely get a starting caliber player that I would draft in the first 5 rounds in this thing.

I think this would be a lot better if we did one guy from ‘79 or earlier, one guy from the 80’s, one guy from the 90’s, one modern guy from 2000+, and then a free for all after the 4th pick. Same basic strategy, but a little less stringent and would open up a lot more of the draft, a lot earlier.

Just something to think about.
