Damn, there's still some good value picks on the board that I didn't realize was still available. Love, Ama're, Middleton.
Havlicek and pippen are the same player
lol.Taking a quick glance I think you're the only team constructed with as good of a defense as mine. I can't wait to see what our teams look like when I run it through the sim. I plan to run 20 simulations this time around.
The personnel you've surrounded MJ with though is amazing. When you got Walton, Kidd, and Gasol to pair with Michael you're bound to do some damage.
Ben Wallace and Havlicek are excellent defenders, but Kevin Durant isn't really a good defender.lol.
I don't think he is a really good defender at this point in his career but he was very good for most of it because of his insane length.Ben Wallace and Havlicek are excellent defenders, but Kevin Durant isn't really a good defender.

Yep. On those warriors teams I thought he was borderline all nba defense caliber but recognition defensively never came. He's always been an underrated defender because of how amazing of an offensive player he is.
That would be fun. Unfortunately I don’t think it would be realistic at all. A simulation can’t measure just how much more competitive the dream team was/is. IMO of course. I’ve heard stories of how their practices were when they would scrimmage love hearing about the battles they had. Jordan and Magic especially. I truely believe they would’ve destroyed the current team.@The Fresh Prince
Could you do a quick simulation of the Dream Team vs the current US Olympics squad?
Would be interesting to see how they compete.
Current squad would likely be:
Bam, Booker, Curry, Davis, Durant, Edwards, Embiid, Halliburton, Holiday, James, Tatum, White.
Dream Team squad:
Jordan, Bird, Magic, Mullins, Clyde, Stockton, Pippen, Ewing, Robinson, Malone, Barkley.
I like the pick for its pure poetry.I love the Sloan and Sabonis picks by @gandalfe . Sloan's was a pesky defender in his heyday and I'm glad someone finally picked him up in one of these drafts.
I like the pick for its pure poetry.
Sloan and sabonis, Sabonis and Sloan
Apologies for the amateurish AI poem:
In the realm of hoops where legends are known,
Stood Jerry Sloan and the mighty Sabonis.
On courts they fought, their prowess clearly shown,
In battles fierce, their skills would astonish.
Sloan, the coach with a heart made of stone,
Guided his team with a will so tenacious.
Sabonis, a giant, in skills he had grown,
With moves so majestic, truly audacious.
In the annals of time, their names are intoned,
Legends of basketball, forever harmonious.
Their legacies etched, in history’s tome,
Jerry Sloan and the great Arvydas Sabonis.
Well, it’s hard to gauge competitiveness, but at least we can do the sim. That would be fun. Unfortunately I don’t think it would be realistic at all. Maybe I’m bias because I love reminiscing the past and love to study even further back from before my time. But I definitely identify more with the 90’s than any other era.
Noooooooo!My childhood hero, Bobby Jones
Gary Payton, Scottie Pippen, Ben Wallace and Havlicek are all elite.Ben Wallace and Havlicek are excellent defenders, but Kevin Durant isn't really a good defender.
Great pickMy childhood hero, Bobby Jones
