This is a really interesting matchup of young vs old. I mean do we project development for the Celtics players and/or project age-related decline to the Pacers team? I ultimately decided to go more based on last season, but this matchup may turn 180 around on me if we do a re-analysis a year from now.

Without write ups its hard to speculate if Celtics are pushing the pace or not, which could really be detrimental to the Pacers team in an extended series. However I think there is an argument that Pacers may be able to cut the series short with them starting 4 veterans with excellent playoff resumes. I'm also not sure who in Celtics is gonna help KD win close games, and when you got Lebron surrounded by clutch shooters in Dame and George it kinda feels inevitable that Pacers are more dangerous in close games here.

Yes. We drafted based on what we think they will do this coming year

While I love the passing of Hali and Sengun, I don't think you can have that bad of defenders at 1 and 5 and be a good defense. Durant's defense has declined a lot since the ACL as well. So I went with team Lebron who showed that he's still the best American in the sport in a playoff setting.

That Pacers team would be unstoppable if this was 2018. But most of those starters are near the end of their careers.
