2024 Jazzfanz Annual Current draft

Jeremy Sochan

Very interesting role-play, good defender the Spurs experimented with him playing point guard so he has playmaking chops and can handle the ball. Energizer bunny type player.

He’s not nearly the same player as Rodman, but he has a similar “eff it” type of attitude that grates if you’re playing against him. Kind of like how Jingles used to get under people’s skin. I like him more than I thought I would. Especially with the bizarro free throw shooting.

He does have Detroit pistons Rodman type athleticism, but definitely a different skill set and a developing jumpshot

Yeah, think this is premature. I like Sochan's potential, but I think he's still a pretty big negative, especially in a league with 140 players.
He’s not a negative on my bench. I’m building a team. He’s a high energy guy off the bench. He’ll be good in transition and a good slasher and passer. He’s also a guy that plays multiple positions giving me positional flexibility

He's still an extremely negative offensive player.

Has Cy ever said good things about other teams’ players?
Try going back and reading and you will see. I just call out terrible picks. It's a competition after all. If someone is putting together a bad team I'm going to call it out.

I just said Hartenstein was a good pick. Or when Sip drafted Embiid late in the first round I called it a huge steal.
