2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Is he the dude with the hair?

Half of Spain's team looks like twinks lmao
Yes, he's the no. 11...

Do you see what I mean about Risacher... he just kinda... floats in there... not assertive at all... not demanding the ball... then he commits 2 stupid fouls and is out for half the game... kind of weird for supposedly top 3 player.

Almansa has been kind of wild when he tries to dribble in this game...

EVERYBODY but the top 3 pick in next year's draft is dribbling the ball for France! WHY?

Told you... he's a shooter. He makes them in the clutch too... if he improves his athleticism a bit, he might be a 1st rounder.
It just doesn't look smooth or good to me. Like it all feels a bit flukey. Spain and France really don't seem to have any standout athletes outside of Sarr.

Wish I would watched last year's U19 without knowing who was who going in. Wonder how much Bilal/Rupert/Cissoko stood out to the unbiased eye.

I think last year it was FIBA Euro. No WC. The WC was in 2021 when Wemby outplayed Chet.

So who do you like now out of this game? Who do you think will be a draft prospect? It's kind of a choppy game so not sure it's the best one to watch... but at the same time... it's the final so...

On France: Basically just Sarr. I would keep my eye on Perrin. He seems like a good athlete with a great motor. Seems a bit chubby and raw, but I see some natural talent that might not be fully tapped.

I want to like Risacher based on the highlights I've seen and the player he projects to be, but he just hasn't done anything this game and it's not a great sign if you can't standout in your age group competition.

That's been my experience with Risacher too... I just keep waiting for him to do SOMETHING! ANYTHING! And he just... floats out there, commits 2 fouls early and gets taken out... then he flashes for 5 minutes just enough to keep me hooked and not turn off the game... only to continue floating for the rest of the game.

For whatever it's worth... this is probably the worst Almansa game I've seen. He's like... the MVP of the last 2 FIBA tournaments he's been in and he will likely be the MVP of this one if Spain wins...

Ok so the Perrin dude plays for Illinois. Didn't play at all as a freshman.

What's with the Illinois coach benching talented freshman?
