2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Detroit's owner wants progress... if other teams see this draft as really bad I could see it happening. They also have a lot of space and likely not a ton of real interest. If Knecht is the guy they like and is still there at 10?

They should really just take Sheppard. If he's gone, I could see them trading back.

IMO, a team to watch trade wise is MEM. They didn't win the lottery and they are too far away from getting Clingan. He would have been perfect for them as a cost effective option at C. I wonder if they would be interested in Kessler.

Kessler for #9 is def a possibility.

I think a lot of picks will be available after 10 so we likely can finesse our way up into the teens or early 20s if we want.

this deal also shaves a couple/few million for the Grizz.

I think I've said it many times... but if NBA teams are really going to sell cheap in this draft anywhere near what some are saying... we should be buying A LOT.

Might have to be Kessler + 29 + 32 for 9
Maybe in other drafts but I'm going to work under the assumption that teams really are pricing things lower... though not thrift stores levels. I might add one of those just to have some consolidation but value-wise Kessler for #9 is super fair.

Memphis is known for liking those late round dudes

I bet they would be very interested in Kessler for 9. They have to feel like they are ready to compete for the title next year and Kessler fill their biggest need.

Kessler for 9 straight up but I'm not throwing in 29 and 32. This draft is loaded at the back end of the 1st and early 2nd with big wings and that is what we need.

I think Memphis would want something more attached to Kessler, like a protected 1st.

It is not loaded. Every draft has every type of player in the late rounds.
