DLo salary dump incoming

I want protections off the 2027 first plus a pick swap in 2028
DLo salary dump for the above…

Then,

DLo + Collins to Chicago for LaVine and picks.

I’m not sure if you still can’t aggregate recently traded salary or what the time limit is.

Now we’re cooking. It’s two months but still.

Trades can't be finalized right away anyway, just bring Chicago into the deal.
I would certainly do that, but it seems like if all teams were in the deal, there’s no way they would be letting us walk away with all of that.

All of what? Chicago getting 2 good players (not great but good) for someone with 0 trade value. Lakers getting cap, we are getting some meager picks (removing the 27 pick protections means nothing to the Bulls.) I's rather have the corpse of Ball though.

Add Clarkson and Ball.

To be honest pretty much every name we've been connected with is still available. Ingram, Bridges, Harris, Lavine, Hartenstein...

I don't think we've learned anything new about what the Jazz are planning... Pretty slow FA so far.

This is a weird signing from a team and player perspective.
From what I've heard Alex Sarr definitely doesnt want to play the 5. Combine that with the fact that Sarr refused to work out for the Hawks, and I could imagine Wizards promising him they bring in a starter level 5 so Sarr gets to play in his preferred role.
