Every basketball fan should watch and encourage others to watch. These players deserve a big pay increase.

The hotel I'm staying at didn't have ESPN so I couldn't watch live unfortunately. Looks like both teams had little left in the tank and missed a ton of shots. The foul at the end was pretty bad, I feel bad for Minnesota.

I HATE talking about refs, but as someone completely neutral….as in I’ve only seen these teams play against CC so far, that game seemed extremely fishy. It was to the point that I was getting annoyed because what should have been a great game was being ruined.

Also, Ionescu was horrible and acted like she just had an all time performance after going 1-19. At least Stewart seemed to acknowledge she was trash lol.

The whole ending of the game was just odd.

Game 7s in the NBA are often poorly played games because both teams are tired, know everything about each other, and often play tight/anxious. Watching the replay of this game reminded me of that, tons of misses. High drama, but a poorly played game.

Definitely a poorly played game, but very intense. That arena was rocking.

Hopefully the WNBA salaries can increase by a lot:

I seem to remember an article about profit sharing the way the NBA does it, but a good chunk of the WNBA teams are running at a net loss, so they couldn't figure out how that would benefit the players. It will be interesting to see how a new CBA handles this.

Just curious, but why do they deserve a big pay increase?
I was saying that in the sense that people who work hard deserve good things to happen to them, but there is also some viewership metrics that are showing how popular the WNBA has been this year. I hope that it continues to grow and that the players and league can all make a good living. These are the best female athletes in the world and I'm hoping this year has shown that when the sport is properly promoted people will care and support it.
