I cant see that happening that far out. Would take a lot of trust between the two GMsCan’t you agree in principle to the trade and have them pick the guy we want?

I'm pretty sure Lauri can be traded as soon as the season is over.I thought the restriction to trade Lauri has passed?
No, it has to be a year since his sign date.I'm pretty sure Lauri can be traded as soon as the season is over.

It's was Locke said a podcast or two ago and what I remember being reported when he signed it. Could be wrong.I thought it was 6 months, which is why there was an opportunity to extend and get traded this year before the deadline. But Lauri decided to sign a day later. That made him ineligible through the trade deadline, but not necessarily the summer.
I'm 99% sure it's 6 months, hence the big deal about him signing a day later to make sure he couldn't be traded by the deadline. It's was Locke said a podcast or two ago and what I remember being reported when he signed it. Could be wrong.
Seems you are right.I'm 99% sure it's 6 months, hence the big deal about him signing a day later to make sure he couldn't be traded by the deadline.
According to this if a player signs a super max they can't be traded for a year, so maybe that is how Locke got confused.
That was such a a horrendous tradeMIL playing without a point guard and finally took Kuzma out of the starting lineup. All of a sudden they can play defense.
Yes it was. I'm not sure what they were thinking. That was such a a horrendous trade
Cade is a star....Man, it would be soooo funny if Detroit beat this star studded NY team.
Goes to show you don't actually need stars to win in the NBA.
That triple double game?So Jokic can't be MVP anymore after that game, right?
It was mostly in jest, but just a reminder game that Jamal Murray can play like an elite player at times. That triple double game?
Lol

And to be fair, it was about as bad of a triple double performance as there is.It was mostly in jest, but just a reminder game that Jamal Murray can play like an elite player at times.
Denver actually has an amazing starting 4 outside of Jokic. Their depth is just the pitts.
Postseason doesn't count towards MVP voting. So Jokic can't be MVP anymore after that game, right?
Funny thing is, Detroit proved that once before in winning a ring with a cast of solid players and no superstars.Man, it would be soooo funny if Detroit beat this star studded NY team.
