2025 Playoffs Chat & Chill Thread

How about Jabari Smith playing 12 mins and finishing with 3 pts. Players who can't create off the dribble get exposed in the playoffs. Once Jabari Smith gets crowded, he can't do much.

This is what I worry about with Taylor Hendricks, btw.

It's also something I worry about my homie Lauri, when he finally makes the playoffs in some point. If games go to lot of half court plays and there's less room than in regular season, aside his 3pt shot, there will be issues unless he improves his handle.

Amidst all the criticism of Jalen Green (just noticed he's making $33M next season), we need to be careful that Keyonte doesn't follow a similar path. Keyonte needs to have a solid 3rd year in terms of his overall efficiency, playing some defense, and decision-making. I do like Keyonte's competitive spirit and edginess, if that helps at all. Keyonte is also better at driving the ball and drawing fouls.

I was scrolling through OKC regular season game results. They have zero losses to teams that didn't make the playoffs other than dallas when luka was playing for them. They have a ton of blowout wins.
They lost to houston (2X), lakers, Denver (2X), minnesota (2X), golden state (2X), Dallas (3X), Cleveland, Spurs

Edit: They lost to the spurs as well.

I wish I would have posted my first round predictions cause I killed it.
Anyway here are my second round predictions:
OKC wins in 6
Minnesota wins in 6 (had a hard time deciding between 6 or 7 games here. Jimmy might give Ant trouble.)
Cleveland in 7 (I had cleveland in 7 before the pacers game 1 win and I still think cavs in 7)
Boston in 6

Then I got boston in 7 over the cavs and OKC in 6 over the T-wolves.
Celtics vs OKC finals. OKC in 7 (or 6. Im really high on OKC)

DEN should have a good chance then..

Boston had 2 of their rotation get injured, their two stars (Tatum and Brown) and are having atrocious shooting games, and it's going to overtime. Meanwhile brunson going off.
Knicks couldn't ask for a better chance at stealing a game. They better not blow it.

Tatum 7-23
Brown 7-20
White 6-18.

That's not going to win you very many games. Probably should have been an easier win for knicks
