It just would have been easier to be able to look up the result 2-3 months from now and simply look at the polls and know exactly who won.
Instead of having to search for the exact page in a 50-page thread where you make the announcement.
Dont' get me wrong Cy, you've done a GREAT job. The poll's just a bit puzzling for me, that's all.
We're not talking about confusion when picking, we're talking about confusion over the end result, who won, who came 2nd, who came 3rd, etc.
I'm thinking OL wants to know the in and outs of the "system" so he can log into his alt accounts to influence voting.
Everyone will know who has won when voting ends.
Also doing it this way there is a risk that someone can vote for a particular poster 3 times in a roll. You need to check that nobody's doing that to ensure validity.

but yeah maybe reading all the write ups about salad rolls and whatnot is taking its toll.
Spy gets my 2nd place vote here. While the Gobbler isn't my favorite (we do a variation of that that involves turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes and stuffing, all the time here since my wife loves it, but I'm pretty meh on it), the top 3 are all solid and stuff that I order out all the time.
