So you want their votes and participation, but it doesn't matter if the results confused them?
Yeah, it really doesnt matter. I'm sure your average person would be able to figure it out once I make the announcement when voting has ended.

OL, I didn't know the point system used and I just picked my first second and third place based on how much I liked their sandwich roster. I was not confused or even concerned. It was very straight forward.

We're not talking about confusion when picking, we're talking about confusion over the end result, who won, who came 2nd, who came 3rd, etc.
Also doing it this way there is a risk that someone can vote for a particular poster 3 times in a roll. You need to check that nobody's doing that to ensure validity.
That won't happen if you do it 1 at a time (i.e., the winner would have been eliminated each time).
Only you would cheat in a poll like this. You aren't in it, so I'm less worried about shady business.
Whatevs. Just pointing out the flaws in your method.
There are no flaws. I made the votes public for a reason.
Please just stfu...... provided you cross check that nobody votes for a poster twice/trice (accidental or otherwise).

Pun intended?
