I am stunned at the level of faith in Burks. I think he shows a ton of potential, but let's be frank, he's done absolute jack squat to date.

Voted for Millsap, Favors and Al.
Favors can guard anyone anywhere. Al will provide post D and reliable scoring. Millsap will be our driver and shooter. He will have no problems shooting over small guards from three.
Easy win.

Mo Williams/Sap/Favors. 3 on 3 tourneys come down to taking the rock to the hole hard and grit in my experience. I think you actually get an alternate in the real tourneys too so Hayward would be on my squad in that scenario.

Man, this topic has got me all nostalgic though. Hoop it Up was a lot of fun to play in growing up.

Ahearn for shooting, Fransisco Elson for leadership, and Marcus 'Koozahn' Cousin for size down low

I raise you your amazing team against mine:

CJ Miles to get shots off
Kirk Snyder for leadership
and Jarron Collins to keep Kirk Snyder from committing level 3 felony.

Favors because he's the man on defense. Millsap for his toughness & good shooting range. Hayward for playmaking & shooting.

Sap, Favors, and Hayward.

Hayward can handle the ball and should be able to shoot.
All 3 can defend, but especially Favors.
Sap just finds a way to get stuff done.
Should be a good rebounding team.
Sap and Hayward can pass fairly well, and Favors has a knack for getting open when things are moving.
Sap can do the half court post game and dump to Favors if doubled.

Favors - He protects the rim, and brings physicality

Burks- Take his player off the dribble and draws double teams.

Marvin Williams- He's long, loves to cut to the basket, and he can also spot up and shoot.

Favors: Wanted Al's post scoring but his quickness made me take favors for defense and rebounding reasons. Plus favors can play good enough offense on the post were there are fewer double teams and plenty of space.

Milsap: Good combo of size and speed. Scores, rebounds, plays D and passes.

Marv: This was the hard choice. He has size and quickness, shooting, defense. He would struggle against really fast pointguards and maybe long range shooters.

One thought I had was take someone like burks chuck 3s and have favors and kanter clean the boards if he misses. But I went with conservative in the end.

if it's 3x3, shouldn't jeremy evans at least be in the conversation? in 3x3 basketball, athleticism is at a premium because there's so much more open space.

not saying he'd necessarily make my final cut, but the hardest 3x3 teams to beat are the ones that have a sick athlete who can jump over everybody.

Big Al for sure...only Jazz player that is unstoppable down low
Sap for sure....pure hustle and makes things happen
Hayward...handler and outside shooting for when they have to, and they WOULD have to, double Al..

Hmm, can't double team Al effectively in a 3 on 3 game, so that has merit.

I chose Favors (athlete) Hayward (distributor with size) and Marvin (all around athlete who can shoot from anywhere, keeps the defense honest) with honorable mention to Alec who could easily sub in for Hayward or Marvin.
